This was a major technical update on Cyntara's behalf. TFS upgrade from 0.2 to 0.4 has enabled Cyntara to be a faster-paced and more modernized evolving OTserv. This enabled us to use many website scripts, such as Guild Wars and Top Fraggers!
Accounts have been reset for the third time in a year and a half. All donation points have still been re-awarded to the players who donated for them. Cyntara is the only OTserv that awards your donation points back after a character reset.
That being said, your old accounts are still valid. Please create your characters using your old account information. Any donation items acquired in-game may be lost forever, but the items you donate for are never gone.
All changes will be noticed in-game. Please take note of all the new features and enjoy your stay on Cyntara, posting a list of all the technical upgrades would take days.
NOTE: Please re-add a working E-mail to your Cyntara account if you would like complete assistance if the need to contact Customer Support ever arises, this will help our investigations and response times, and we ask you do this immediately after reading this post.

| Update 3.0
Today, Cyntara 3.0 has been released to the public! Please take a couple minutes to read what new changes have been implemented into Cyntara!
Cyntara's Internal Coding has been rebuilt to run on a Unix Operating System (Debian 5.0)
Debian is a great operating system for hosting. Not only did we change the operating system that the server runs on, we also upgraded the dedicated server, here are some (of the most important) tech specs:
Quadcore -> 2x Quadcore
RAM Doubled
250GB Harddrive -> 500GB Harddrive
A new Website Design!
As you may have already noticed, the Cyntara Homepage has received a makeover! We hope you enjoy the work that was put into these changes. You may thank Saints Anathema (layout) and Xar (text) for their work, if you see them around!
Bot & Duplication Detection! Actions preformed by players will now be automatically monitored by our server! This means that all players using a bot in general will be recorded into our records, for further investigation. We also have special categories for Combo Botters, and Cavebotters! All logged players will receive a ban collectively! Leveling on Cyntara must be done fairly, or suffer the consequences!
Minor Changes
- The Potion System has been 100% Rescripted!
- King Of The Hill has been fixed, and is working 100%!
- The Donation Items from our previous contest have been added to the shop! Congratulations to our winners!
- Houses have been fixed! Players may now own their very own house!
- New Monsters! New Bosses! New Raids! New Quests! And a very unique reward! We guarantee you will have to work hard to complete our new quest lines! Our monsters are hard, our bosses are better, and our raids are more unique!
- The depot, temple, and Edron have been redesigned! We have also added Carlin, Thais, Glacialis, the Wisp island, and the Crystal City to our map!
- A few hunting grounds in our free & VIP area have been received a new look, or were revamped!
- A lot of previously undaunted monsters (white knights) have received an exp, and loot boost, to make them more attractive to players! Nightmares have also been limited a bit more, we will not have the entire server hunting nightmares! You will receive more experience from group hunts/boss hunting than solo hunting!
- An Open Events area has been added! Have you ever wanted to have a 2v2, or 3v3 without any interference? Now you can! Players will be able to watch you and your friends duke it out, in a real-battle situation!
- The 4 Swords Quest has been fixed, a silly mapping error stopped many players from being able to complete the quest!
- The VIP Teleport room has been revamped! Along with the Cyntara zone!
- Duplicators are gone, for good! The database has the correct amount of donated points in it. All items have been wiped, and points have been added back to donator's accounts. We would like to ask you to reselect your donation items!
Alongside this huge list of updated & fixed features, there are many new secrets hidden throughout Cyntara. How well do you know our mapper, Myth? Who is the Dark Knight of Vanda? Will Vegnagun finally see his destruction? Only you can find out, on Cyntara!

| Today is the long-awaited Cyntara update! Please take a couple minutes to read what new changes have been implemented into Cyntara!
Update 2.0
A new way to gain experience!
- Known as the "Rebirth" System, has been implemented into Cyntara unlike most servers. Players will be able to level up to level 600. (Which will be easier than before), and talk to Queen Panda, above the depot to trade in their 585 levels, for their base health and mana at level 15 with a bonus, for each rank! Plainly spoken, a mage rank 5 at level 300 will have a significant amount more mana than a rank 0 mage at level 300. That being said, a rank 10 mage level 300 should be equivalent to the rank 0 mage with an expensive donation armor. This will keep players achieving a new rank, every day.
- A new highscores page for ranks, and first ranks to reach their max have been added as well!
- One of the biggest things we did with this update was listen to your ideas posted for event ideas, so, I proudly introduce: Capture The Flag, and King of the Hill! Seemingly insignificant, these two systems took much time to implement, and much thanks to our friend Pitufo! Events will be hosted by GMs, and lots of fun for everybody. King Of The Hill is for the risk-takers, and Capture The Flag is for pure fun!
- A new quest, a new set, & a few new powergaming spots!
With this update, we have included a new set for free players! The crown set is now the most desirable set for non-donors! They are rare and difficult to obtain, but with enough persistence, will be obtainable!
The 4 Swords Quest has been brought to Cyntara. Take your team of your best 4 friends and test your faith, and strength against the test of time!
The gift shop has been updated, two new items of convenience (and showing superiority) have been added, and an item has been added to allow players to powergame accordingly!
Moster Adjustments!
It's more than obvious that currently, Cyntara's only 100% profitable, 100% great experience place are Black Knight Bosses. This has been done away with. We have changed this to allow more hunting grounds, and new monsters to hunt.
Boss Spawns!
Now, bosses will randomly spawn in hunting places (some 100% new, some only appeared in raids)! Keep your eyes peeled for some of Cyntara's new bosses, and, perhaps some hunting grounds accommodated for these bosses!
City Adjustments!
A new city has been added north of the depot, named Pultara! Thanks to our friend Murder, Pultara will be available for housing in the very near future! Along with Pultara, Edron has been updated and received a whole new look!
The Automatic Guild War System!
This is a first for TFS 0.2+ servers alike, an automatic guild war system has been added to the community section, to accurately display the opposing guilds and who they are fighting against!

Patch 2.1
- Rebirth System will now give you damage boosts as bonuses. After every couple rebirths, you will receive a damage boost, which will make a rank 20 hit harder than a rank 0. There will be a very noticeable comparison between hits of a rank 0 and a rank 50!
- The 4 swords quest has been fixed. Have you ever entered it only to find the Guardian was blocking your path? This will never happen again!
- Curaga's exhaustion has been fixed!
- The pz spots in Nightmares have been deleted.
- King of the Hill event has been fixed!
- The Devileye was adjusted!
- All donation items are usable by level 15's.
- Exori Rai's damage has been lowered.
- Dr. Bombay's spawn decreased.
- Player skulls are viewable on the 'Who Is Online' page.

Patch 2.2
- Potions are now used for LIFE AND DEATH situations only.
- Topazes & Gold Ignots are now used as currency.
- Houses had to be cleared in order for the server to work correctly, if you have any donation items missing please contact me VIA PM on the forums.
- Please note, that if you're carrying a large unit of currency, such as an ingot, you will not be able to purchase items that don't immediately break down into topazes.
We're sorry for the 1 inconvenience, and are proud to announce that the Cyntara 2.0+ Update is now complete!
